I sat in the dark for 4 all school productions in the pit orchestra. It wasn’t all playing music though. Much of the time was spent watching the cast learning their lines, finding their marks, trying not to fall of the stage while doing these things and sing and dance at the same time. The first two, I didn’t even have a camera. For The Music Man and Carousel, I shot a lot of pictures. Here are the best of them. Anyone with photos of South Pacific and Damn Yankees?
